Meet Andy Hawkes, Resident in Counseling
I’m honored to work with families, couples, throuples, poly systems, and the queer community. As a parent of two trans kids, my commitment to supporting gender-diverse clients is rooted in deep empathy and lived experience.
My passion lies in helping individuals reconnect with themselves after trauma. I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore the pain — not to avoid it, but to move through it with clarity, compassion, and choice.
I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices — always keeping in mind that the mind and body are deeply intertwined. My work is grounded in attachment theory and a belief that the psyche knows how to heal, if we allow it space and support.
Whether you're navigating identity, complex relationship dynamics, or just feeling stuck, I offer a place to land — and an invitation to slow down, tune in, and begin to heal. We’ll face what hurts with curiosity and care. And yes, it might be uncomfortable at times — but you won’t be doing it alone.
You are worthy of healing. You are worthy of choosing the life you want.
